Who here watches the latest incarnation of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles? The one that airs on Nickelodeon?
I admit, I wasn't sure what to expect of this version. I didn't really keep up with it and only knew a few things, like it being CGI. But other than that, I was in the dark. I was willing to give it a chance, though, since you never know if something will be good or not unless you watch it.
I eventually saw the first two parter and I admit it was a lot better than I thought it would be. The animation was quite nice, the changes weren't that bad, they actually acted like teenagers, among other things. It manages to keep a serious tone at times while still kicking out the humor. I think this is the best version of the Turtles ever put out.
Before, the 2003 show was my favorite version. But I feel that TMNT 2012 handles things better, especially emotion and character development. Not that 2003 is bad or anything; I just think 2012 just does it better.
