Who here has read this book?
I read it years ago. It was a pretty good book, and I liked how the author did a lot of rabbit research in order to portray truly alien characters, yet they weren't beyond comprehension. I enjoyed it a lot more than I did the animated feature. I felt some things were explained better and others were better paced.
The only thing I didn't like was how descriptive it could get at times. It detailed foliage and I'm not good with that area, outside the general basics. Plus my copy had bolder lettering, so at times it looked a bit blurred to me. That made reading a bit harder.
I do recommend this book to anyone interested in xenofiction.

I watched the film adaptation first and didn't like it too much. Then I read the book and I'm like "it all makes sense now!" Despite the fact that the book was...uber-descriptive about things I didn't know much about... XD

I remember the movie but I haven't seen that in forever. I really want to read the book again. xD

I'm not sure if I could read the book again. I'd probably overload my brain with trying to figure out the appearance of all the plants that were described. XD
