Out of the holidays, which one do you not like as much? Which one do you look forward to the least? Please be considerate when posting your reasons.
For me, it's a tie between Easter and Halloween. Although if I had to choose, I'd go with Halloween, as I can ignore Easter pretty well since my family no longer celebrates it. Halloween, on the other hand, I can't ignore because, like Christmas, it gets attention and specials and merchandise (while Thanksgiving was sadly skipped over right after to make way for Christmas).
I don't hate Halloween. It just has no meaning left for me. As a kid, I did enjoy dressing up and getting candy. Nowadays, all Halloween is to me is a bunch of kids stuffing their faces with candy. Not exactly a brilliant day for me. I don't even like candy as much as I used to, and I can't stomach as much as I did as a kid, so I can't even enjoy that aspect. I'm also not huge into horror usually, so I usually don't like the Halloween specials, although there are some I don't mind. I don't mind visiting family (though admittingly it's mostly to see Lincoln the dog and Harlow the cat), but I am pretty apathetic towards Halloween in general.
Yeah true, Thanksgiving is more or less just stuffing my face (I mean our family doesn't even say grace like you would imagine a traditional Thanksgiving meal would go), but I would much rather have a big feast than a few pieces of candy.
No offense intended to those who love Halloween. It's just not my thing.

I have two:
Thanksgiving because I barely eat anything on Thanksgiving dinner and I end up looking like a jerk for not eating what my aunt made. Second, a number of my family members are so old-fashioned in their mindsets which makes me have to endure hearing some really painful things at the dinner table. Since I have trouble interacting with everyone (and everytime I try, I'm ignored), I just always bring a stack of books with me.
And then Valentine's Day, since it's a corporate tool to get us to buy more flowers, chocolate, and greeting cards. Sure, it's fun as a kid- you have a party in class, you hand out little cards with the Rugrats on them with a cheap lollypop attached, and then you watch a video. And when you get older...yeah. There are a FEW things I like about it though. Dunkin' Donuts always has some great stuff out for V-day. And the specials are pretty good.

Valentines day. Blah blah romance blah blah. But I do like the cheap candy though so I can't hate it.

I forgot all about Valentine's Day. Yeah it's not one of my favorite days, either, though I don't hate it.
