Mine is probably The Skrawl, as that was my introduction to the character. They did a fanfastic job with showing just how dangerous and threatening he can be.

It's a tie between "Double Trouble" and "The Skrawl"
"The Skrawl" for two reasons. The first being that it was a really good introduction to the character, and the second being that it was my first episode of ChalkZone so it's really special to me.
"Double Trouble" is my favorite episode of the series. I like how it kind of took a darker turn than most CZ episodes.

What could have happened to Rudy in Double Trouble was definitely pretty scary, as he could have been trapped in ChalkZone forever (along with Penny perhaps). Slavery aside, Rudy and Penny weren't going to survive long and would have died anyway, with starvation and dehydration being the most likely culprits. Their parents would never find out what happened to them, either.

Probably double trouble. I liked how the episode was longer and it's definitely one of my favorites.

Yeah, I also liked how it was a longer episode. I wish there were more like that besides it and the Christmas special (if the show got a proper finale, I could see it either being a full 24-minute episode or a TV movie).
And yeah, "Double Trouble" did get pretty scary. You had the fridge horror of what would happen to Rudy if he got trapped forever. And the redscreen scenes got pretty intense (at least for a show like ChalkZone where this is very rare).
It makes me kinda sad that we didn't get any more episodes that took a darker turn...but then again, this IS a cute and happy comedy/fantasy/musical series aimed at the younger set.

Howdy Rudy kind of had a dark turn to it near the end when we see a zoner get graphically erased all on screen. Even if it was short and even though Howdy lives at the end, we still got to see just how painful it was for something like that to happen to a zoner. Howdy's scream of pain and his confused and desperate cries after that as he was licked to death were pretty disturbing. I imagine it messed with Rudy, Penny, and Snap to see that. Even with the knowledge of Howdy surviving, just seeing a zoner get erased like that probably won't leave their minds anytime soon.

Yeah more longer episodes would have been cool! I really loved all the red screen parts in double trouble.

Yeah, Skrawl's Song is great, and a really good introduction to the character.
