Who is entering Nanowrimo this year?
For those who don't know, National Novel Writing Month is an annual challenge where you try to write 50k within a month. You can write pretty much anything, even fanfiction. It doesn't have to be an original story. Just as long as you get in 50k.
I'm currently working on a story of my own. It's coming along pretty slowly, but I'm sure I'll be able to complete the challenge in a few days.

I've thought about doing this but November has been a bad month for me pretty much every year. One day I'd like to do it though.

Maybe next year you could try?
I participated in Nanowrimo for a few years. I worked on 2 stories in that time. Both involve dinosaurs. One involves a world where dinosaurs are still around, and the main character gets involved in a murder investigation, and it leads him to an illegal animal fighting arena. The other one involves my invented dinosaur species living on an island, and a man goes there to investigate, only to get caught up in a conflict.

Kind of hit a bump in my writing. I might just stop writing the story for a while. I can't figure out which direction I want to take it in.

I wouldn't do it if it stresses you out. There are still plenty of other months to write a lot.

Well I'm not really stressed out by it. I'm just not sure which direction to take the story in.
One of the pieces of advice I remember hearing from Nanowrimo's site is that the best way to counter writer's block is just to write. So I don't plan on stop writing altogether. I might just put this story on hold and write something else at the very least.

Yeah, that's probably a good idea!
