Another picture of Brain from Chalkzone. Took a while to get this one done due to this college semester being a giant pain in the ass, but I did it! And boy, this one was probably one of the most complicated and fun digital pieces I’ve made in a while. x)
When TheMasterofDespair (over on DA) and I were talking about some possible ideas for Brain fan-art this was his idea. I knew immediately how I wanted the overall composition of the image to look, at first I had contemplated adding the mouth. But, instead I wanted the focus to be on her face (especially her eye) so I had her mouth concealed by her hair and hand instead. Lastly, when designing the mirror frame I was simply going to draw some random patch of flowers with leaves, but then decided to add Marigold’s instead because of their meaning.
