I'm not sure if I'll make it, but I still have thoughts on doing one. I do already have ap lot in mind. The comic in question would be a what-if scenario where Penny did betray Rudy for real. Of course, I'll be doing some story editing to make it fit better, since I can't see Penny really turning against Rudy over a few pictures. I'm not entirely sure yet what that change will be.
The comic would feature Penny as one of the primary antagonists, but she won't be simply evil; she'll still retain most of her original personality, and she wouldn't really harm Snap or Rudy (who are captured). She'd be more of the Friendly Enemy type trope.
I'm still thinking of ideas for it.

That sounds awesome! Honestly, I'd love to see more CZ comics. It would be AMAZING. And the story idea sounds really cool; I'd want to see it.
Speaking of which, since IDW and Kaboom! have been reviving a lot of animated shows in comic book form, imagine what they'd do with CZ. Admittedly, I would love to see a comic revival get a little darker and edgier (for two reasons- the first being protection from Nick's Standards & Practices while still being family-friendly, and the other being that the kids who watched the show when it premiered are all in their late teens/early 20s).

They are? I haven't heard of that. Maybe they could pick up ChalkZone sometime.
Yeah, some darker themes in ChalkZone would be a nice change of pace. There's plenty of material for them to work with. And CZ had some messed up stuff in it already, like in the movie where it was implied that countless zoners died long ago, in a rather gruesome fashion at that.
